Dr. Reena Sandhu

Dr. Reena Sandhu’s journey as a psychologist has shaped Vault Therapy into a specialized clinic offering structured, evidence-based therapy and psychological assessments for individuals seeking clarity, insight, and meaningful transformation.

Her career began in child and youth services, followed by a clinical role in the Psychiatric Inpatient Unit at Vancouver General Hospital. There, she worked with adults facing severe and complex mental health challenges, specializing in psychological personality assessments. Through this work, Dr. Sandhu developed deep expertise in diagnosing psychological disorders and understanding the core beliefs, cognitive patterns, and emotional dynamics that influence mental well-being.

She saw firsthand how comprehensive psychological assessments could offer powerful insights and guide targeted treatment planning. However, she also recognized a critical gap: these services were often inaccessible outside of acute care settings.

Motivated by the growing awareness of mental health following the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Sandhu founded Vault Therapy in 2019. Her goal was to make high-quality psychological assessments and therapeutic services more accessible in the community. Since then, she has supported a diverse range of clients through her private practice, helping them navigate challenges and achieve lasting personal growth.

“Your mind will take the shape of what you frequently hold in thought, for the human spirit is coloured by such impressions.”
